The design of the museum combines elements of modern and traditional design. The highlight of the design is the maximum usage of natural light and ventilation. The other major aspect of the design is the use of technology in bringing together the latest digital technology and the ancient artefacts to enhance the visual appeal. There is provision for an indoor forest area, a cafeteria, library as well as a souvenir store. The idea was to create a space which intrigues the visitors (including disabled or blind people) and eliminate dullness in any manner whether it is ambience or educationally.
